Or, Explain Your Blog Name. Why Copy Carla? Because I was wanting to start my own blog to share the things I've been doing around the house but everytime I started composing something, I'd just delete it and never post it because I felt like such a copy cat. I've finally decided to embrace my copy cat nature and become Copy Carla. I have a hard time coming up with my own new or original ideas so I copy other's ideas. (Hopefully only the good ones!) I usually put my own twist on the things I copy and I promise to try to remember to give credit where credit is due.
I've been copying other's creative endeavors for years in my scrapbooking pages. My scrapbook pages started looking the best once I got Becky Higgins' first sketch book. When I saw how great my pages looked when I copied, a copy cat was born.
Recently I've discovered blogland. Enter Copy Carla. Blogland is like a super great magazine that doesn't have pages and pages of ads or advice articles that I have no interest in, its free, and I can participate as much or as little as I want. And if I happen to run across a blog that has content I don't care about, guess what? - I can just click on something else! What could be more perfect than that!?!
